View From Our Front Yard

Our Front Door

We are very proud of our Ohio nonprofit corporation. Founded in the 1950’s, we strive to serve the public by offering quality dog training at reasonable prices. We welcome all dogs – large or small, purebred or all American, purchased or rescued, dogs needing basic training or dogs ready for competition.

All of our instructors are volunteers and are very qualified to teach their respective classes. Most have earned titles and/or certifications on their personal dogs and some are even AKC judges.

We recently expanded our facility to almost double the square footage we had in the past. There is plenty of parking and rest room space for both humans and canines. Our training areas are fully matted with heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. We are easy to get to off I -75 or RT 35.

We hope you will give us the opportunity to “train you to train your dog.”

The Dayton Dog Training Club continues to monitor the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, state and local health departments regarding  the Coronavirus-19 (COVID-19) pandemic.

We value the health and well-being of our members and of the public we serve and therefore, effective immediately - Spring session classes will resume the week of the second Monday after the Shelter at Home and/or limit on number of persons that can gather in one location restriction is lifted. The session will run the standard number of weeks for each class. The summer session (session 3) is canceled.

More information regarding the Spring 2020 session will be provided as that startup date becomes apparent.

Your best defense during this pandemic is to wash your hands frequently, stay away from large crowds indoors and stay home if you are ill.

Again, the safety and well-being of our members and of our customers is our main concern. We look forward to seeing you again when classes resume.
