Photos from the agility trial on Sunday, Jan 28, 2007

What a great trial we had. Large entry and super help.
Thanks to everyone who helped and the judges for their contributions.
I was unable to come Fri. and Sat. due to work schedule so the photo
included are from Sunday only.
I
have been practicing taking trial photos for the last year or so and
have sent these to the club for the web pages. For those that do
not do photography, the conditions in the barn are terrible for taking
photos. The lighting is not adequate for taking great (or even
good) pics. What I was trying to do is take what is called panning
photos. This is where you move the camera with the moving subject.
The goal is to blur out background and part of the subject to create a
illusion of motion. There was barely enough light to able to stop
motion at all, so it was mostly hit or miss to be able to get even part
of the subjects motion stopped. However, I think I achieved some
interesting and unusual photos. Keep in mind while looking at the
pics that keeping the subjects in focus was not my goal or even
possible. You should also know that I downloaded the photos at a
low dpi and small size so that they will download quickly. This also
means that they will not print or enlarge without losing all quality.
If you see a photo and would like to get a print you can contact me at

I hope you enjoy the photos and any and all feedback is appreciated and
welcome.

they say Run Clean, Run Fast, Run Fun.
